Sardinian Wine Dinner at Tavolàta
Join us on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Tavolàta on Stone Way for an unforgettable evening celebrating the wines of Surrau, one of Sardinia’s most exciting wineries, with a special visit from Giando Zeddo, native Sardinian and ambassador for Surrau.
Nestled in the rugged beauty of northern Sardinia, Surrau is known for its vibrant, terroir-driven wines—especially its award-winning Vermentino di Gallura DOCG and elegant expressions of Cannonau di Sardegna. For this one-night-only event, Giando will guide guests through Surrau’s story and Sardinia’s unique winemaking heritage, offering insider knowledge of the island’s native grapes, ancient traditions, and dramatic coastal terroir.
The evening features a multi-course dinner from Chef Justin Kim of Tavolàta, with dishes thoughtfully crafted to complement each wine. A highlight of the night: two different Cannonau bottlings poured side by side with the main course—an opportunity to explore the nuanced character of this storied Sardinian grape.
