In honor of Women’s History Month, ESR and the team at Tavolàta Belltown are hosting our annual Celebration of Women in Food & Wine! Join us on Wednesday, March 15th, to toast to the tremendous impact of women on the food and wine industries.
Chef Jessica Rudell & Chef Megan Coates have prepared a delicious multicourse menu for guests to enjoy. Each course has been thoughtfully & expertly paired with wines from our featured winemakers. We will welcome Anna Schafer Cohen of àMaurice Cellars, Erica Orr of Orr Wines, Kelsey Albro Itämeri of Itä Winery, Shae Frichette of Frichette Winery, and Mari Womack of Damsel Cellars.
Women have been involved in food & winemaking for centuries, but they have often been overlooked & undervalued in male-dominated industries. Nevertheless, today's women chefs & winemakers are producing exceptional, critically acclaimed, and award-winning food & wines across the world, demonstrating their expertise & passion for their craft. We must continue to recognize & support the achievements of women, inspire future generations, and acknowledge the vital role women play in the growth and evolution of both industries.
Twenty percent of every ticket sold will help support the WA Women's Foundation.
WA Women's Foundation is a collective of informed, community-oriented women who partner with organizations bringing positive change to Washington State. Through their collective efforts, they have invested over $19 million in the community since their founding 26 years ago.
